Please.... Experienced builders only ....

So I'm looking into the possibility of upping the compression on my FD to 9.4:1. I'm hoping for a little better mileage, more low end torque.

0.5) Is this reasonable to expect?

1.) Do I run the counterweights used with the '87 9.4:1 rotors?

2.) What shops have good reputations as good internals balancers?

3.) Mods so far are HKS IC, DP, Apexi PFC, Dual N1, Atkins street port.

Planning LIM port matching to the street porting, water injection, upgraded ign, ram/cold air intake. 14PSI max - Will that be enuf to prevent detonation (assuming the A/F-r is below 12 @ WOT)?

If not , what else?

TIA,

J

WTF??? Okay, maybe I won't move it to the engine builders forum...but I'm sure another one of the mods will move it for me.

pineapple has already built a motor like this and it seems to be a very good combination if tuned correctly.

Talk to Ralph Friend of groundzero about his engine he says the drivability is so much better than before, it’s a wonder why this has not been done by more people.
