Remove the drivers side kick panel.

Unplug the white 20 pin connector.

Unplug the white 8 pin connector that is directly above the 20 pin connector.

Reinstall the kick panel.

Does everything else still work o.k. ?

The only thing that no longer works is when you lock the drivers side door from the inside, it no longer automatically locks the passenger side at the same time like it used to. So you have to reach over and flip it down by yourself.

Other than that everything is still 100% functionable and the alarm has not came on since.,

What cars have the factory alarm



I recently ripped out a "UNGO" alarm outta my fd, because it was annoying.



I just found the brain and all the hook ups and ripped it out.



Was the stock alarm ungo



and are thier certain models aka touring, r1 etc that have the factory alarm or do all of them

does that work on 2nd gens too?

I found one white wire which is cut but still the alarm goes on when i unlock and open the driver's door :(

Do have any images that would help?

If you are awakened at night by your 1993 RX-7 factory installed anti-theft alarm (horn beeping and head lights popping up and down), then here is the procedure to disable it... PERMANENTLY!!!
1. Silence the alarm (one last time) - Stick the key in the drivers door lock, turn towards lock, turn towards unlock.
2. Remove the drivers side kick panel (its by the driver's left foot).
3. Unplug the white 20 pin connector from the green box.
4. Unplug the white 8 pin connector that is directly above the 20 pin connector.
5. Reinstall the kick panel.
6. Go back to bed.

I added the "green box" to the description to help you zero in on the proper connector. There are a half dozen connects of odd shapes and sizes. Counting pins was tedious while contorted to get my eyes and my flashlight and my hands into the same spot.

Yes, I can confirm that the electric lock feature is subsequently disabled, but nothing else seems to have changed.
