Just curious...what have you all had your FCs up to?



Back in the NA form, I had mine up to 138 in 5th @ around 6600RPM...I know the car could do over 140...but ran out of road...also, I hit a bird at that speed...you should see my old front license plate, lol...

mach 1...next week im going for mach 2 if my tires can handle it

my best is around 190km/h.... stock N/A... pulling around 4000rpm (if i remeber correctly) car felt steady as a rock....

I haven't gone past 120-130 mph in my car, but it felt like it would peg the 160 mph speedometer pretty easily. My friend did 141 in his 91 coupe.

Not an RX7 but I did 139 in my GT but backed off cause it is a bit creepy doing basically 140 in a convertible.....

Ok what is up with this?? 190 Km/h?? THats not even 120 mph. And the cool picture of 120 km/h?? THats about 70 mph. What is the speed limit over there in australia? My vert likes to cruise at about 120. Havent really had enough road to do much more.

No no no noooooo....the 190km is equal to about 120MPH...look at the pic that ILUV put up...look at the KM marks, find 190 and you'll see its a little below 120MPH...so he was going pretty fast...

I've heard of a TII running what "seemed" to be 210-215 mph. It was revving at 9K+ in 5th. :o

speed limit is 110km/h on most country roads....

vosko: get me one too, I messed mine up changing my heater hose, now my speedo wobbles horribly under 60 mph.

Last night I took mine up to 135mph and had all just about all of 5th left...



then the road started to curve, so i didnt want to risk it B)

I've had my N/A up to 132, but like sidewinder, I ran out of decent road. It really didn't feel like it had much pull left anyhow.

my 87 gxl gets up to ~140 in 4th without trouble, but 5th gear has nothing left after I shift. Seems like every time I drive to chicago and back theres a new maxima ready to try hang with me weaving > 120, I get scared watching them try in the mirror. The 7 on the other hand has so much downforce at that speed it's begging you to go faster. I generally fall in love with the car all over again every time I drive downtown. my top speed was 145.... had plenty of road left (texas only has 50 million long straight roads) but I have crap ass tires on it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png so I let off... although, a blow out is about the only thing that hasn't gone wrong with the car so far :P
