https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif Ok, have never had a problem with my brakes. last night I stoped in slowed in a parking lot turing to the tight and I hear a tearable metal hitting meatal sound...but only turning right..all most as if I lost a pad! well..oddly both my brakes make alot more noise now. sounding like my pads are going or what not. but i had the car in the air today and every thing looks totaly fine!!! pads are almost new. My new Powerstop rotors are fine...except for on the front left there is a line of heat ware, it only makes it look a little darker in color.

So please help! what could be going on. My fluid is fine. the car stops fine! just makes a ton of noise and that turning to the right and braking thing is just painful. ok thank you for your time.

A couple of thoughts. Possible wheel bearing, or possibly a stone/pebble got lodged in one of your brake pads.

Odd that it would only do it in a turn if it were bearings, although the brakes making noise could indicate a bearing issue. Maybe lift the front end wiggle the wheel around a bit, spin see if you can hear anything at all.

your brake line could be collapsing causing the caliper to not release properly, thats how I would explain the heat wear

or one of your clips for the pads might have made contact on the rotor

I had that problem for a while too. But i caused my problem. Check to make sure you have the washers in between the caliper and the bracket. I left one out and that bolt scracted the **** out of my rotar, thank God it was my old rotar and not a new one. I could also be the wheel bearing going bad. Check it and repack it. THey say you should repack them after you do your brakes anyway.
