You mean the Mass airflow sensor? Yeah. You need that unless you have a standalone

rootbeerdragon 08-30-2006 06:26 PM

can anyone get me a detail picture of theres with those inside connectors??

this will help alot thanks

RONIN FC 08-30-2006 07:26 PM

Find another one if it dont work right. Those components arent supposed to be exposed or touched out of an ESD safe enviroment.

rootbeerdragon 08-30-2006 07:30 PM

i think i cna do it if i can get by with a clean picture so i know were stuff goes

fc3s4utnv 08-30-2006 07:39 PM

No he is saying unless you are in a clean room(IE static free) you dont want to **** with it, go get one from a salvage yard for 10 bones.

rootbeerdragon 08-30-2006 07:58 PM

10 bones nome saying i aint got dat shyt dawg

jk

its hard to find a FC round here

But, if anyone can get me a picture... i would LIKE to try

cymfc3s 08-30-2006 08:18 PM

What RONIN is saying is that you are NOT supposed to crack open the air flow sensor. If you opened it and it damaged, you need to get a used (working) replacement. They are very cheap.

Rob x-7 08-30-2006 08:18 PM

put a WTB ad up, im sure there are a ton of those sitting in people's garbage heap somewhere.

rootbeerdragon 08-30-2006 08:29 PM

fine

Rob x-7 08-30-2006 08:41 PM

might even be able to get a new one from a auto parts store, I know for other cars they can be pretty cheap.

Stanello 08-30-2006 10:02 PM

It really should be handled with care. The static from your body can fry it. It wont show any probs right away, it will fail while in use(latent esd damage).

People put new cards in their PCs all the time, and those are extremely sensitive to static. Some never have problems, some wonder why their new cards, ram, motherboards always fail.

rootbeerdragon 08-30-2006 11:59 PM

well if anyone has the time i would like to try, if fails i will buy one..

rootbeerdragon 08-31-2006 12:11 AM
