Alright, so I tried to bend this thing back into shape with a pipe bender which didnt work so well, and its pinched near the fitting almost so badly that it wont flow worth a damn, I learned this pipe was pinched when I turned over my car and my turbo bearings started to cook the oil they WERE swimming in, so I dont know what to do about this, I dont want to pull my CHRA and tap it for a line, and it might be easier to source one from another car, but damn, that takes awhile, here I am just waiting on this damn hard line.......

Any ideas? Obviously bending it without a specialized tool isnt going to work...

Try yelling at it. Also just get a new one, im sure someone on here has a parts car that would be happy to sell you one.

You can moake a new line from SS and run it from the block to the turbo (The only thing you will have to make is the flange that connects to the turbo) or buy one off of someone.

You could try to hit the crushed bend with a hammer wilst bending it to where you need it. This pipe is pretty soft so it may work. It wont be perfect (it will be more of a square then), but it should work.

Or just buy one from someone.

can u weld flanges to SS like on the oil drain?

ok. Im going to put this in order. Follow these direction exactly as stated.

1) Go and grab a beer, open and consume half before starting step 2.

2) Hit ebay and the forums looking for the oil line

3) Finish beer number 1 and grab its friend from the fridge and reunite them.

4) back to step 2 and repeat as needed.

This message brought to you by Marcs surefire way to get a buz.... err... oil return line.

i actually might have a stocker lying around somewhere. actually by lying around somewhere i mean in the bottom of my toolbox at work, so ill let you know monday if i have it.

i might, if i dont i probably have an AN setup that uses the stock hardline from the block to just above the turbo then switches to a short AN line. it was my old setup for my other turbo.

kevin.

I bent my stocker back into place sorta, took some real convincing...but its on, I would still be interested in the AN setup though for sure if I am going to keep removing this turbo....now waiting on exhaust components cuz right now open 3" DP is a bit loud.

After that much bending, the steel tube has probably work hardened.

When you get a chance, you should probably anneal it.
