Welcome to the world of 2nd gen RX-7 eletrical maladies. It's probably a bad wiper switch, check the fuses first as it's not fun to replace said switch.

My car has one wiper speed. It also has no heat due to a screwy logicon.

Ahhh the joys of a 2nd gen.

buy some Rain-X in the meantime, that way you can drive safely in the rain before you get this issue sorted out.

yes i have one-speed wipers as well. which is fine except timing the turn-off so they stay all the way down pisses me off, cuz everynow and then i go just past off and go to mist, and what happens, randomly mist works and puts the wipers in the middle of my windshield.

the bastid.
