how would i go about checking my window motor/regulator in the car or out??? damn thing whent down just fine. and then never came back up...
just incase...its electric |
try jumping it``````````
|
ok............
how? |
remove the door panel, remove the plastic that covered under that, then unplug the regulartors 2 prong connector, then run wires for + and - from the battery to the regulator, depending on which way u connect the power, will change if it moves up or down, so try both ways.
Alot of the time its just the switch has become corroded inside, and taking it apart and cleaning the contacts will ussually fix it for a while. |
thanks man...
|
Yup. I've had my switches apart once already. The pass side one looked good. Quite a bit of carbon in the drivers side. Cleaned it up. Works pretty good now.

Another question while we're on the topic, how do you fix the jittery electric windows, when they're moving down? just lube up all of the joints??
