Just replaced my vaccum lines with new silicone ones and now the car hits fuel cut when i hit max boost in 2nd gear. Its maybe gettin to 0.52 bar now instead of the 0.5 bar it made before with no problems.

its a fairly stock s4 with the rear exhaust replaced and an aif filter.

I presume the new hoses have less restriction so it makes more boost. What are my options coz i dont wanna hit fuel cut again?

boost controller set to 0.5bar?

you either need to lower boost (restrict exhaust, put the stock air filter back), or get a fuel cut defensor

Just get a fuel cut defender. They're like 80$ usually, probably your best option. Exhaust without a FCD isn't a good idea.

Yah. What isn't a good idea is putting a fuel cut defenser on a stock car with intake and exhaust. If you go this route (I did, before I got the Haltech), make sure your fuel system is in top shape. I chose to upgrade the fuel pump at that point. More than one old T2 has popped a motor with an intake, exhaust, and a FCD.

I was told there would have been a restrictor pill in one of the vaccum lines. can i just put that line (told its the one to the pressure sensor) back on? or can i get a new line with the restrictor in it?

Yeah just replaced the line from the manifold to the pressure sensor with the original hose and it seems to have fixed, though im scared to run full boost through the car again.

Anyone know of u can buy the hosing with the pill in it?
