If the clutch was working ok with the flywheel then I would just leave it. You'll just want to put the pressure plate on in the same position it was when you removed it.

you should just have your flywheel resurfaced if your putting in a new clutch. when i bought my car i had to replace the clutch with a kevlar clutch and i kept the stock flywheel and just resurfaced it so it catches a little better. thats only if u have some scratches in the flywheel that u can feel with your fingernail.

what kinda clutch are you putting in?

well i just noticed a couple things, one i there is a hairline scratch on my pressure plate maybe and inch long, and like 3 the same size on my resurfaced flywheel, barley noticeable though, so i don't know if they were that way when i got it or i did it when cleaning the m with rags.. Do u think these tiny scatches could do any harm?

I did call my dad from school to tell him to pick up some stuff and i mention that i didn't need the resurfacing, but he had already brought it in w/o me knowing, but oh well, it looks alot better and smoother!
