Hey whas up im werking under my car and have to drop the tranny all by myself. I want to make sure the car is properly supported so it dont crush me.



I have it up on ramps in teh front, which im going to put some jackstands just in case.

The back is on a jack and also with two jackstands and some bricks under the rear tires to hold the tires up. The car is leveled i just want to make sure of the jackstands positioins in the front.



I was thinking those Circular black bushings it looks pretty sturdy.

You got it tight Jay other than the bricks under the back wheels, Set it down on the ground and block the back tires to make sure it wont roll. On the other hand I know yer a big boy so if you gotta have that extra clearance than be careful! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Looks good, i always use those black bushing things. Tranny swaps are fun, i end up laying under the car with the trans on my chest and just "bench press" it in place. Your gonna have to take off the mount from the trans to get the splines and the pilot bearing to line up... Just thought id put in some of the probs i had. good luck

jay, i have made a tool to insert the rear tailshaft seal evenly. call me if you need it
