dude you are better off stripping the car and using what ever is salvagable on a newer chassis. replacing the floor pan is a very involved process usually requiring a floor pan from another RX to do.

Yes, and if you do it wrong it can be a fatal mistake.
Other than that go to a salvage yard with your trusty spot weld cutter and start drilling away. Always to rember to leave 3/4" for the new seams, use seam sealer to finnish the job and primer the section for paint. But i only did reconstructive auto body for 6 years, so what do i know? Get another shell. |
yeah that body is done, find another

Well after i got done getting everything out of the car it turns out not to be as bad as i though but still might not be able to fix. Its mainly on the passengers side and its just on the very side (about 1 inch in maybe) not the whole floor pan like i thought. So i was thinking i might be able to rig some kind of deal up but who knows lol. Its gonna be hard to find a rust free shell around here is the bad part but it may have to be that way. Ill take some pics this weekend and maybe someone could tell me for sure. Well thanks for the replies!
