rebuild kits usually dont cost over $100 unless it's a BB turbo

That kit says its for the s4 turbo, are the parts interchangeable? I also have a stock s5 turbo that i would like to rebuild (just a little shaftplay) and $100ish and some DIY isnt bad at all

To get a garett T3 rebuild kit locally is 275 CDN which is 225 USD and not too many places sell them. That and if they do they dont' want to sell to you, they try to convince you that you can't do it youself and it is better to let them do it for 1000.

Other than getting the rotating assembly balanced, is there anything difficult about the rebuild?
