Yes, they are R32 rims. But they look almost the same as some other R32 rims. Mine were GT-R rims. The other kind come on the lower GTS-t model. Those are 16x6.5JJ. These are popular because they are dirt cheap, look good, and fit easily. the GT-R rims are a bit different. The GT-R rims are 16x8JJ with a +30 offset. They fit perfectly in the back. In the front it's a different story. When I first fitted them they stuck out a bit. This was with a fully stock suspension. There was a bit of rubbing with 225/50's. So I rolled the fenders. This helped a bit. Then I got some Suspension Techniques sway bars. They helped a lot. I was going to get them anyway. I also dialed in as much free camber as I could with the stock strut mounts. This again helped a bit. Once I got the camber plates (part of the JIC FLT-A2's) this is what made it perfect. The front camber maxxed out at -1.9 degrees and this was just enough. Well, one side did about -2.0 but I wanted them equalled out. It doesn't sound like much but it is. So everything I did helped make this setup work out in the end.
They're a good size and tires for them are pretty cheap. I've never been into riding on rubberbands so with 225/50's they handle great and still have enough sidewall to soak up any road hazards.

more rim less tire = win
I like a rim that looks cool when in motion too. And with a 18 thin 5 star it definatley grabs peoples attention.
I used to like bronze and black rims, but dark colors show no definition and only look good parked in the sunlight. Where as your traditional lighter color rims stick out at any time.
