hey..im just wondering where i could get wheel studs. 2 of mine onn the reear left wheel completely snapped.r those special studs or can i buy them at a hardware store. cuz i know i can just puch them out

Yes they are special studs available at auto parts stores. Don't ever use hardware parts for suspension, they are not meant to deal with the large about of load, shock and torque.

mazda wanted 5 dollars canadian each.



to replace the rear studs you will need to take off the rear hubs. Good luck.

remember to unstake the nut first then heave... then use NEW nut! very important on the new nut and use loctite.

how would u unstake the nut??i have lock tites but cant i just use the new lcoktites on the new stud and just swap the nuts..thanx

take a big screwdriver and a hammer and knock out the dented in part of the nut and then unbolt. Then restate the nut by knocking a part of it back in after uput the new one in. You'll see when u go take a close look

I didn't need to take off the rear hub to do mine. I did however have to grind a piece of the stud down so I could slide it in.
