When I dropped thr transmision from my '86 non turbo. I didn't remove the Cat first. This caused the transmission to bind-up and come to a hault. at this point I removed the Cat and then the transmission came down. But it looks like I destroyed connection of the wires to the transmission. I have not removed the connector to inspect the damage but it looks pretty bad from the outside. My question is, what function do these wires serve. Is replacing the harness required?
