I am finally in the market for suspension and wheel upgrades and was wondering something about the wheel offsets. From what I understand the FC's are like +30 offset. What would I need to do to make a set of 17x9's with +24 offsets fit without problems? These are some of the mustang replicas on ebay if anyone was wondering, the price is right and I know people who can paint them any color I want. Just need to know what needs to be done in order for them to fit, thanks.

i had 17x8 32's on mine all the way around, they fit perfect in the rear, stick out just a tad in the front.

17x9+24 is perfect up front.

I would like to see pictures of the 17x9 +24 in the front... I just can't see this fitting without rolling the fender or even using wider fenders

Good to know about the fronts fitting fine, that was actually my biggest concern. I am not to worried about the rears fitting or not fitting because I can get longer studs and spacers if needed. I decided to upgrade my suspension alone instead of getting wheels AND suspension. But this is good news for future reference. Any word on how thick of a spacer I might need for the rears, Lee? 17x10 +24 with a 275 fits in the rear with a roll, so base it loosely off that and you should be fine. even no spacer itll be fine. so basically the mustang stagger sets on ebay are almost a perfect fit on fc's.



i actually run 40mm bolt on spacers on the rear of my car to flush up the stock wheels. it really looks a million times better, as you can see in my sig pic. those are the stock gxl wheels on the back. thats something like a 7 +0 with a 205.

Here is my conclusion...



the 17x9 +24 will not fit on the front with a stock fender... this setup will require a 25-30mm wider fender to fit without rubbing(depending on tire size)



17x9 +24 in the rear should fit flush when running a 265



a 17x10 +24 in the rear will poke and with a 275 will require rolling of the fender not to rub (depending on ride height)

this is the 17x10 with a 275 i was talking about. definitely rolled but rolling is no big deal.



the thing with the fronts is really camber and tire size. youre not gonna be able to run stock camber and 255s. not happening. so i guess if you dont have camber plates or coils with plates, then its not fitting.

front 18x8 +35 225 40 18

rear 18x9 +42 255 35 18



The fronts are tucked in.

how the hell does that not hit the rear suspension with that offset. thats like, FD offset.
