Then no, the 89+ won't fit. The clear part of the cluster is different.

I just went out and looked i was wrong it points to the driver and it lights up with letters

The only things that are different that I can remember offhand are the radio surround, center vent, shifter/knob/surround, the gauge cluster surround, and the cluster itself. Stuff like the demister grilles and door vents are the same.
I'd get the 89+ stuff if you can afford it, it seems to be made a lot better. |
Maybe save your cash ..get an alarm or tint the windows
