What number is a 88 ECU? Is it a N326 or N327? Thanks

87-88 shouldn't matter. they are same i believe. someone correct me if i'm wrong

Well there is differences. The pre87 1/2 ecus where for the low impedence injectors. THe 87 1/2 and up anre for the high impedence injectors.

Some ecu have and extra letter like an a or b or c.



I think my old n/a ecu was 326 but i'll have to check not sure. My car was pre 87 1/2 year.

either one will work. the resistor for the injectors is external.

I've got a 87 NA infront of me and it's N326.

The 88 NA have 327 for the number.



I'm also almost positive that the ECU is different from T2 to NA because of the factory boost guage pin required on T2s, but I could be wrong. Also, if I'm not mistaken the Automatics also have different ECUs then the 5spds..



If you need an '88 ECU...mines up for sale. It's from an '88 SE 5spd.
