What is being injected into that manifold? ...the lines seem to be way too big to be nitrous or water.



If those are all (4) of the injectors, that is pretty neat and I would like to get more information about a setup like that.

I figured so ...what I really want to know is the actual benefits of firing all injectors right there? ...and why not against the current for better atomization?

who's car is that? that thing is setup really nicely it seems. looks like a full drag car.

I have seen that done on most high HP Jap Spec RX7's. Here is a pic of another car with similar setup. I guess 1600cc injectors are not as common there as they are here in the US. All I can see that configuration really is making sure enough fuel is available when it is really needed. I saw a setup similar to that at a drag meet and the car had eight injectors. The guy had bought the engine from a Jspec engine importer.

i have read some people using 16 injectors. look at dragons old 20b CYM. that had 8 injectors if I recall correctly.

That one is evern more interesting with the air meter in the IC piping.

That's how they use to do it in Japan. They would relocate the air meter, thinking it would flow better and make more power.
