It is ghetto like almost everyone else's Fc on the board. Cutting of the hood, the battery cables, ect. . .
|
I saw that car back with it had a rotary in it.

What a pile of crap. Just another V8 conversion
|
It was a bigger pile of crap before. (No offense to the old owner or anything)

besides the graphics down the side of the car, the poor cut
on the hood scoop, and it needing some tidying up of the wiring whats so bad about it? the graphics are probably vinyl, the scoop is at least grafted into the hood, 5 minutes with a plasma cutter or even a cut off wheel can neaten up the cut underneath. A day or so of some wiring clean up and its all good. if it still had a rotory in it the only thing people would be critical of is the graphics. Add some tailights and its S5. it was probably another NA S4 with a blown engine that was going to be parted out anyhow, no one says anything when people part out FCs thereby taking another one off the road, but god forbid someone does a engine swap to one all hell breaks loose. |
Yes, I agree. It's main purpose is drag racing. It'll do way better with a v8 in it than a 13b.

into consideration its been out for over 20 years. this is what hot rodding is all about, taking parts from different cars and putting them into something else to make it faster, usually parts you had laying around. Back in the 50's this is what they did and it still stands true today. how quick we judge when its a piston engine, but yet most turbo rotories retain very little OEM mazda parts once you get beyond the engine itself. |
