This is my first thread, so as a newbie its nice to be a part of your Forum.
To my Question, I have been rebuilding Factory replacement engines for a Uk based Company, I only build engines to a stock Factory level. I would like to get into the Tuning side of the Rotary world, I have built myself a Turbo Engine for my 1989 Turbo 2, i have made quite large inlet ports and have port matched the Exhaust ports. The main problem is i am faced with a problem as my car is having a water seal problem, so i am faced with ither rebuilding the bad engine or useing my Ported one? It sounds easy but i'm a little low on cash this month so if i went the Ported engine route What is the minimum i would need to do to the car to get the engine drivable? I would like to fit the new engine to start the run in period but i dont know if the T2 Fuel system will hold up? If the engine was to Ported for the Fueling would i be risking Det? if so what would it act like (symptoms)? Thanks Chris |
So the car is totally stock except a ported motor?

Thats what I got outta that post as well..stock accessories, ported motor.
