i wanna slam my 2nd gen non turbo, but i dunno what will give me the lowest drop, anyone have any suggestions?

if you wanted dump you're best off going coilover setup.. not sure if Ground Control makes a setup or not.
Otherwise just a torch and factory springs :P |
Hopefully you know that cutting springs is not a good idea! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
And also know that if you lower the car too much, it compromises the handling capability of the car. Othen than that, coilovers would be the best bet. Next would be intrax lowering springs as I believe they give a 2" drop. |
I think Geofmann is right with the intrax. Anything more then that 2" will give you major camber problems.

2 inches is a lot....... bad for your wheels, it will butterfly, as if godzilla stepped on it
|
Otherwise just a torch and factory springs :P I had Intrax for awhile, they drop alot, around 1.75ish....fucks with your camber, but not a ton. GC coilovers won't drop you alot either..unless you start messing with different lengths of springs and ratings...I was TOLD, that GC coilovers, with 8 inch springs in the front, and 10inch in the back, with the perches all the way down is the MOST you can drop it with out hitting the bumpstops. |
I have Intrax springs with Tokico 5ways and the front really looks good but the back sits up higher than the front a little which I dont like........I have considered taking a little off the spring to level it out. Ne one have a better suggestion than that other than "buy coilovers". I know you can buy different shock mounts or some thing for the front that drop it 3/4 but what about the rear? sorry for the thread hijack!

in my opinion
7's with the front lower than the back look better well atleast my car is like that my front is dropped to da ground on intrax springs and the back is sittin up a little but i have 18's on my car though...... |
Make sure you get some good shocks to go with those springs. Otherwise it will ride like crap.
|
I had KYB GR2's with my Intrax. Bouncy...but stiff.
And as for a better suggestion..it just depends on your buget. Don't be a cheapskate |
