Well, the bigger numbers normally give you bigger accleration, but you lose top speed in each gear. Also, there are aftermarket ones...KAAZ makes very nice high quality ones that will drop your 1/4mile time an easy second or more. They are about $700 to $800 though. Are you sure that the GTUs was the only 4.3? I could have sworn that 89+ T2s had them too! Oh well...

you can get an after market LSD like the kaaz but that won't change the ring and pinion. you can get a 4.33 , 4.77 whatever you want the higher the ring and pinion the better the acceleration but lower top speed

Well according to Rx-7.com only the turboII in Japan had the same 4.30 as the GTUs in US. But they are saying its your final Drive gear, not your differential, the last gear in the tranny, I'm not saying u guys are wrong, but what wrong here? And also how would i put that in my tranny, i know they are extremely hard to work on. ??? I think there is also a fluke on this page too, NON-Turbo top ends??? :newlaugh: i wish....
