What's A Good Egt?
#1
The way my car is tuned right now, it runs pretty constantly at 1300 degrees fahrenheit...is that optimal or should I tune it differently? I tried to search, but EGT isn't 4 letters, so me = lose.

Get the car on a dyno and find out yourself.
I don't like giving target EGT's (same like wide-band AFR numbers), because each engine is different.
Engine VE is different.
Even identically set-up engines will run slightly different EGT's.
Different EGT gauges will read differently.
I know this is not exactly what you're looking for, but if you understand what EGT is, you'll realize what the above means.
If anything, your EGT is slightly cold, and you can lean it out just a tad.
