Hey guys,

This is perplexing me a bit. Our 1990 N/A Vert is spewing water at times from beneath the passenger side dash. It doesn't smell like coolant and the coolant level looks fine. I've been leaning towards something with the A/C, it's working overtime in the 100*+ Texas summer.

It seems like it's pooling up under the dash after the car is parked.

Any thoughts on what this might be? I did some searching in the forum and came up empty.

I found some posts on the "club" discussing the evaporator drain. From what I can see on the vert, the drain tube is still securely connected to the evaporator box. I'm starting to think the line is clogged. Any reasonable ways to unclog it?

it could be the heater core since those like to leak when they go bad if its coolant that is but water idk heater core is all i can think of that does that kinda thing

The A/c is on passenger side. best way is to take an air hose and blow it in the drain. The way the heater box is in most likely coolant will end up on the drivers side unless it's a line. I would say your a/c drain is plugged
