oui! mike is french now!

If the rear diff mount is bad enough, the prop shaft will move in and out of the gearbox about an inch. I saw mine doing it and had the car towed to a shop

this much play doesn't seem normal, it makes a lots of noise while driving. at certain speeds (the natural frequency of this problem, i suppose), when i step on the gas, the back end oscillates between the prop shaft driving the wheels and the wheels driving the shaft...its quite annoying.

such is life, i dont have the time and money to troubleshoot a problem. if i was rich and had a 2nd car, i'd rebuild the whole rear drivetrain and suspension, but such is life. good thing i only drive this thing like twice a week during the school year, it's not a very comfortable daily driver.

oh well, i'll just stick with fixing things that i know need work, like my brakes and exhaust. screw the diff, it works good enough right now.
