started 2 days ago....its realllly weird



sometimes when i brake , normally or hard, i hear a hollow clunking noise, just short enough to sound like im running over a stick ...and just once ... CLUNK....from the FR or the car, im thinkin since im braking maybe its in the wheel area, like brakes



i dont know what this would be and it happens randomly ..... im confused and dont want my car to stop braking on me for some reason

I think I have heard that on my car a few times as well. I was thinking it might be the bolts that hold the caliper to the mount. Or maybe a loose strut top or bottom. Not sure but nothing is going to suddenly fail on you:)

I get the same thing...it's from my caliper that leaks, if that helps.

i think that might be it then...cause one of my calipers was a little ruffed up after kev and i did the brakes

get new shims and hardware kit, they are both cheap. I use teflon shims
