i was reading on rotary resurrection and they said that you can clean the engine's internals by feeding water through a vacuum line so here is my question. has anyone done this themselves on an S5 turbo and can you use the line going to the air pressure sensor.

i havnt heard of people using water to clean carbon. but i have heard of people doing this with sea foam with great results...
also ATF or similar. |
Water works, just keep the engine at a high idle and don't drown it. As it turns to steam it breaks up the carbon.

This isn't a cureall, but it can be good preventative maintenance.

Obviously make sure the car is nice and toasty before you begin and don't drown it.
