ok quick question about the stock wastegate thing.

if i disconnect the actuator rod should i be able to easily move the flapper with my hand or will there be resistance? I had it on the lift today but didnt disconnect the rod i just pulled the actuator rod, which seemed to require a lot of pressure to move the flapper a little.

speaking of which how far should the flapper go?

gotta run tests on it tomorrow, i REALLY need to fix it, i wanna get it to a track before it's winter retirement.

Yup, with the actuator disconected, flop she should. I'm guessing its about 30 to 45 degrees of rotation between full closed, and the point where the flapper will hit on the cover.
