i do want to keep it a rotor yes, i was thinking of getting a 13b-rew to put in my 88 but i dont want turbos. i was thinking more in the line of atkins 7 inch super charger with a holly carb on it. im looking to get 400+ at the rear wheels but not much more to it than that. if anyone has a sugestion about what i may need please let me know. im going to reaserch myself but if you have something you would like to sugest to get or stay away from let me know. thanks

You'll never even get close to 400 hp with their supercharger. Go with a turbo, it is so much better than a sc.

You won;t get that type of power from a Supercharger. you will get more low end seat of the pants feel. The Suprecharger will not be able to support the hp your asking for because it will not be able to support the boost levels required. Superchargers are always flowing, but unlike a V8 with a Detroit 6-71 or 8-71 the Atkins blowers are only going to run a max of 12 psi before they become inefficient. Look at the numbers the turbo guys are using as far as boost and CFM to get the numbers they are pulling. I am not saying there is not a way you can get 400hp from the supercharger, but your going to find it easier with a turbo. And probably cheaper.
