Hey guys, I did some research and found that a stock S4 pulls .86g on the skid pad, while a S5 Turbo does .89G; I've always believed in handling before power. So how do I upgrade the FC? I have connections at whiteline (i get their stuff cheap), should I get they're products. Or are stock S5 pieces better? How about eibach, suspension techniques, or racing beat? The usual coilovers/polybushes/arb's will help - but having them set up correctly & corner weighted will make a night and day difference. Tyres will also yield a massive improvement, and so will any reduction in unsprung mass - lighter alloys/tyres/brakes etc.

I've noticed the most popular/generic/daily driver suspension upgrade is KYB AGX dampers or Tokico blues, Eibach pro-kit springs or Racing Beat Springs, Suspension Techniques bushing kit, and I'm not sure about sway bars.



But depending on what you plan on doing with the car, you may need more (coilovers) or less.



So what do you plan on doing with the car?

yeah budget and planned usage are key....



its also important to have a really good hard look at all the suspension, on the s4's, the swaybar links are usually bad, who knows where the alignment is, or the condition of the toe control stuff. all of this is cheap and easy to fix....



my next fc is just going to run agx/eibach springs, with about -1 camber up front

Do you mean the bushings in the links? Because I know the S4 links are metal while the S5 are plastic. I planned on putting my S4 links (with newish bushings) into my S5 (along with the lower control arms with replaceable ball joints).

get the adjustible sway bar links from mazda trix they dont use bushings and they are pretty lol. oh energy suspenstion makes awsome poly bushings, i like my combination of tokito blue and eibach springs also the racing beat sway bars are good as well

Agx's/ground controls, spend the little bit extra to get the coilovers instead of springs you will be glad you did, I was.

metal bit is fine, but the rubbers inside are always shot

Enough... Lol, let me clarify My business partner and I are a whiteline aus part vendors. I get whiteline at wholesale, for our own shop cars. That why I was asking how their RX7 (s4) stuff is. Street and AutoX duy for my car. So I was thinking new bushings, Braces (sturt tower), shocks (KYB GR2's or AGX), springs and sway bars; in that order. What do you guys think?
