Just like to say whats up to all the FC owners on this board ... I've made the transition from Honda to Mazda and I can't be more proud of my new car. If any of you guys seen the 88 TII for sale from Georgia .. well I'm the new and very lucky owner https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Here are the pics that the previous owner took that I snatched and put up on my own webpage.

I drove a total of approximately 28 hours for this car and it was worth it ... the car is absolutely MINT!!! Thanks to the previous owner John for a great buy and I'll be around the board more often now.

That's funny..

I sold my '00 Civic Si for an Rx-7...

I bought it in georgia to (but you didn't get the privelege of buying it off of this super sketchy Puerto Rican guy who held us hostage in his trailer over night)

Then drove it back from Atlanta to Minneapolis in one day https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

isn't it fun? hee

congrats on the new purchase.. Only honda i'd consider purchasing again is a S2k otherwise they just don't compare.

Rotaryman88 03-22-2003 01:29 PM

That is a really clean TII....congrats!

And I am prowd to know there is one less honda guy out on the road https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

Rotaryman88 03-22-2003 04:20 PM

Yea...that's a lil odd w/ the steering wheel. I'm not god on dif between features on interiors on s4 & s5...but I just know that I've seen that steering wheel in s5s...after all....I'm just an SE-X God! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

Rob x-7 03-22-2003 05:29 PM

congrats on the purchase, welcome and good luck.

And you steering wheel people- maybe someone changed the steering wheel in

either his or your car. Some of them fall apart easy and being as it takes 5 minutes or so

to change someone changed it with one from a another car.

RLoNeZ 03-22-2003 05:47 PM

Thanks for all the warm welcoming. I have no idea about the steering wheel being a S5 or S4 but I do know that the steering wheel is what originally came with the car. Turbosmoke I was extremely lucky because I got the car for below $5400 and it had 46k original miles. I've taken the car for a closer inspection to T&R racing in queens NY (www.rx7s.com) and they did not find one thing wrong with the car =). Matter of fact I was even offered cash right on the spot for it because its so mint. I was told to keep it stock until I need a rebuild ... but Tony from T&R assured me that it will run smooth for another 50K so I have plenty of time to decide what kind of realistic power I want out of the car.

I think 88 T2's had the S5 n/a steering wheel...but the 87T2's still had the regular S4 wheel...

looks like a sweet ride man! hope you have fun with it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
