what was broken on yours?
Mine worked but the little plastic guide that the cables rode on broke, I can have someone make this piece since, as far as im aware, Mazda does not sell just that one piece, unless im mistaken? I have seen a writeup for repairing them with bicycle cables when the cables go, but has anyone else had thier plastic guide on the bottom break? |
the coupe has regluators that you can buy without the motor, i would if you could swap some stuff and repair the vert ones?
I need to see if the plastic guide is the same on the bottom, they are getting over $250 for used regualtors on ebay
with the vert you have to buy it complete with the motor for $500+ , the coupe you can get without the motor for like $200ish.
I have someone who can make the guides cheap, but he needs to make 100 of them
group buy on rx7club.com?? or have a big bulk for winter time? |
when we got them made for a Mercedes regulator it costs a whopping $125 for 100 of them
I made one for the vert I had years ago. I could do a small batch, but price-wise, I couldnt compete with $125 for 100 of them.
yeah the damn grooved guide on the inside that arranged the cables is what wore out on mine.. i did the bicycle fix.. but after a while it went nuts again..
