Ive already done that like i said in second post. The pass side it doesnt even attempt to run through the tube and i cant find a hole in the fabric. it comes out the front of the pouch almost as soon as the water hits it. Drivers side a little water runs through but then the pouch just dumps it out the same spot as pass. I guess ill mess with it more after i get the new WP in and car running again.

Take the top motor plastics off and trace the tubes that way.

They might be totally blocked, or may have ripped away from the fabric and are wadded up behind/under the panel(s)

when i got my vert my aunt and uncle (previous owners) warned me that this happened sometimes and when it did the tubes were always clogged. pull the rear deck/spare tire cover off and follow the tubes.

put your hose in there and let it rip, that will clear it

com-press-ed air..... or a hose like rob said, that might result in more wet interior stuff tho if youre not careful.

rob = vert god.

I would be afraid of the air possibly blowing the tube off, maybe if you went easy with it

a hose works nice, cleans it too

I dont know, i think a new top was put on before the car was sold to me. So who ever did it somehow didnt get it exactly right. I dont think there is a hole in the fabric. Ill take some time tomorow when theres light and see. but looking at the tube when the wire i used got to the end it just hit solid against something which i would asume to be the top material. is this something easy to mess with or should i just take it to a place and have them redo it all?

define "re-do it all"??

I got it all fixed now and no more leaks. The pass side drain tube was installed completly wrong, atleast judging from the drivers that is. It was in the rear and not anywhere near bottom of pouch. and they bunched the cloth together when it was done so the hole isnt as big as should be. Over time the whole pouch decide to twist so the tube was sealed off compeltly on the inside. I straightened it out and cleaned the tube more but was still leaking until i realized that some how the pouch was open to the front of the car and just dumping the water after it got so much in. i know it didnt rip becuase the ends were still sown i just took a safety pin and held it up higher. So i should be good for a little while, sprayed car down with hose for while and couldnt see any water.
