Basicly I have taken off everything and anything that has to do with polution controle and A/C, the car never had power steering. I know what I have to do with my vacuume lines but I have been told I can use a resistor on the plugs that go to the color vacuum solenoids to avoide the check engine light.

A: is this true?

B: if it is what size resistor do I use and are they diffrent?

I havnt started the car yet because I'm still putting it together, This may be something I dont even need to worry about. I just want to have all my bases covered.

My vacuume consists of MAP from throttle body, oil meeter valves from throttle body inline with that distribution block, break booster from throttle body, blow off valve from throttle body, and fuel rail regulator from the throttle body. Turbo feeds the waste gate from the turbine housing.

Let me know if i'm headding in the right direction.

My fsm only tells me how to test them, i looked back in the wiring diagram area and didnt even find it, i'll look more. My manual is for 87 and the car is an 86, shouldnt matter much....
