Help,

somehow our fitting got stripped on the passenger side front caliper. We're in need of the lower hard brakes lines with 10mm fittings for the front of an S5 TII 4 pot caliper. Preferably both sides, if possible a passenger side caliper as well for safe measure.

preferably in the nj area, or anyone know of a junkyard in NJ that has 7's in it?

you can if you really want to get a fitting and with a flaring tool

fix the line on the car. You can also run a whole new line and with

a flaring tool put a new end on both sides. New brake lines are

dirt cheap and they have the fittings as well, a cheap flaring tool is less then $20. So all told a new brake line will run you like $30.

I broke the end of my brake line on my Cherokee once, I was going to run a whole new line but it went from one side of the passenger compartment, under the engine, THRU THE FRAME, then out to the caliper, I measured it and it was like 80" long or some **** with alot of bends in it. Soooooooo I bought one new fitting and the flare tool, for less then $20 and less then 20 minutes I fixed my brake line, fast forward 5 years later and the thing is holding up fine.

went to junkyard, got new lines for front off a convertible.

Rob: went to 002 auto parts said they couldn't replicate the fitting cause it's metric and not US Standard, but we did try that method at first.

a parts place that sells more import parts might have had

one, but anyhow your problem is solved- good going.
