I just replace the catalytic converter on my 91 n/a with a high flow converter. Is it pretty normal for the converter to get just a little red in areas once warmed up, or does this indicate a problem? The whole thing isn't glowing bright cherry red, but like I said, it is slightly noticeable. I have no reference to compare to, as the old converter was rusted through. Thanks.

It'll actually probably be less red than the one you had on it.
