If any of you have read any of my other post you would know that I have the '79 that I put the '86 engine, ecu, and efi in. Well I was having a terrible problem the the idle and backfiring, so thinking it's a vaccum leak I took everything apart about 6 times looking for the problem; well come to find out it was a 'faulty' Throttle Body... I change it and now it runs like a dream!

I'm still having a bit of trouble in the cold start department, but I'm getting ready to rewire the fuel pump with the '86 fuel cut relay, and open circuit; which will hopefully fix that little problem

Think that'll help your cold start? Is your cold start system hooked up?

The cold start, is hooked up and it works properly now! Also, I did get the atp sensor, but with no noticable difference... Now I just can't wait for the fuel pump rewire!
