it's a good idea to keep it. I noticed engine temps increase when I ran without it, and it lets alot of crap get up in there that wouldnt otherwise stand a chance of getting in. I'm not sure of aerodynamic benefits, but since theres no clear justification of removing it, and it doesnt weigh much, I see no reason to remove it from the car https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

THe only thing i'm missing is the aluminum pan that goes underneath the oil pan, which i took out to take pics of the wastegate.

Does this help? I know what my car is suppose to have and not. Nothing much missing.

Apex13B 02-20-2003 10:28 PM

The tinneman nuts where rusted out and broke off my undertray in the front... :squint: guess I should purchase a new tray and hardware. I Took it off itremove and clean out the oil/tranny coolers

the underside of an fc looks so easyto work on with out the HUGE crossmember that verts have https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif
