If you have an intake installed in your FC, you might know what i'm talking about. What is the little silver box (with wires going into it)

What does that do? I've heard it has something to do with the injectors. Low/high impedence. Can i remove that? I've heard of Putting all those wires together. will that damage something? how do i know if my injectors are low or high impedence. THanks guys

Ooops. it sits under the intake. Little Silver box..

If it's what I'm thinking of, it's the relay for the fuel pump. You can move it or rewire your fuel pump, but you can't just remove it. The resistor pack for the injectors is over there too, so that may be what you're talking about.

yea yea... the resistor pack. Can't you rewire that thing and make the fuel injectors 'think' their High impedence. What is the diff between High and low? Can it be used for performance?

I came across it while removeing all the unused crap in my engine bay. Everything is going, once i figure out how to rewire it.. or recap it. Everything is coming out and getting regrounded, and just blocked off.

I'll get some pics once i'm done. I would like to get engine bay repainted, but that's alittle bit to much work.

HA HA HA I thought you were really stupid and talking about the MAF, until I read the whole thread

relisys190 04-12-2003 01:54 PM

Yeah it did kinda of sound like that.. when i first posted. Man i'm a dumbass https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

But i still wanna know the diff between low and high impedence Injectors.

and how do i know what i have?

it either the injector resistor, or the fuel pump resistor, you need both of em
