Well I start the car and if I turn the wheel to the left or the right the rpm will drop and sometimes stall the car. Any ideas what could be doing this?

You have ps? Then it's causing too much drag on the motor.

turning up your idel will be the quick fix. or don't turn the wheel unless your giving it some gas.

samething happens to my dads 7 idk thought.

wouldnt a faulty bac valve do this as well? or does the bac not register what the PS pump is doing. In any case, make sure ur power steering fluid is full

what does your car idle at? the P/S will lower your RPMs, the BAC should compensate as it's a load on the engine and i believe the BAC adjusts for all loads. But yea check your P/S fluid, and has it been in an accident at all, or is the feeling of the steering "off" at all? a customer had bent an inner tie rod slightly but it was enough to make the P/S work just hard enough to stall the motor when idling.
