What's your objective? If you want stock T2 performance, then your job is relatively easy. Just install all the stock T2 pieces. If you're looking for more, there are tons of options. Lots of info on this site if you look around. There's been plenty of discussion about this, although the consensus seems to be that you're better off starting with an actual T2.

so that would include engine tranny diff shafts ecu etc.. i want to get it up and running.. yes of course... but i want to be able to take it to the track as well and put down decent times ya know? i dont mean 14s i was looking for some lower times but youre right about working with the stock t2 at first.. i had thought about a diff turbo with a higher boost potential, even if it meant a lil later spool.. and of course proper tuning.. but i guess when it comes to the small differences in turbo sizes i wouldnt know what to choose

its easier to start with a t2, cause finding buying and installing the engine/trans/diff/axles is a lot of time/money and work.

but yeah its 100% a bolt on swap.

tons of ways to go faster too, you are money ahead by figuring out exactly what you want in terms of power/track times/durability etc and then buying those parts. it doesnt make sense to buy a t2 ecu and then swap to a haltech....

yeah i realize that its going to be difficult to collect all the pieces of t2 but i dont want to get rid of my car and yeah as far as the ecu goes that makes sense but im not sure yet how to run and tune haltek.. although i do know that tuning is the most important part to not blowing my motor..again im very new to modding and such but does haltek control boost pressure too?
