mazdatrix recommended using 20mm freeze plugs, I tried this and they leaked after a few runs. They also recommended using epoxy on the plugs which I did not do (sounded like a hack to me)... so I pulled the freeze plugs out and tapped the rotor housings to 1/2" NPT and installed these aluminum plugs with teflon paste. It didnt leak under pressure tests and the plugs are recessed so they won't interfere with the intake manifold. Any of you guys had to deal with this? what did you do?

heres a pic of mine:

actually do they do that on turbo rotor housings or NA? I'm pretty sure you do that with a NA housing because there is material there to drill out to the inner rotor housing surface. on a turbo rotor housing it's already open and you say hello to the water jacket.

hence the need to plug it. or put a turbo LIM and turbo on the motor https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

That should work fine, but is it going to interfere w/ the functionality???
