I have finnally decided to do the swap (NA-TII) all i need is the parts. At my local junkyard there is only 2 rx7's and both are NA. Does anyone know of where i can get a complete engine and trans?

My j-spec is from corksport . You ca also try fc3s.org.

If you're a gambling man, you can check every so often on ebay. I think I saw an S5 T2 drivetrain on there a couple weeks ago. Good luck finding one in a junkyard. I've seen at least a dozen or so n/a's in our local you-pull-it yard, but never a T2.
Probably best to spend the money and buy from a reputable shop. And of course, I hope you've done your homework. There are those who feel that it's better to start with a turbo car than swap the driveline into an n/a. |
Lots of Jspecs are bad too, many guys on here have had bad experiences with them, most recommend them only if you plan on rebuilding them..

Revvin, thats the truth. Rotaryman88 knows that. he still talks about the one rotor 13bt chirpping 2nd. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I've got a friend with a S13 and he is on motor number 5 now. All SR20's, all J-spec. The company has kept sending him new motors. He has 2 now that work, but the company is still sending him another. I have no idea what company it is, but it sounds like a good deal, except the entire fact that you have to keep ripping your car apart. He can now take the entire motor out in under an hour by himself.

Your best bet is to buy a whole TII. This way you can use the engine, tranny, driveshaft, rear end, ecu, harness, and all the other junk you'll need for a proper swap.

One more thing, unless you have a slow as **** vert that you want to go faster, I don't see the need for the swap, start with the TII and build it from there.
