Has anybody heard or seen or put a turbo on a six port engine? If so what were the results, and how much did it cost altogether? And how reliable would it be? I tried a search put I couldnt find anything, if anybody could link me to a thread I would appreciate it.

Aaron Cake and many others have done this.

Go to the dark forum and ask if you want to talk to Aaron.

are we talking about putting a turbo on a 6-port n/a engine, or using 6 ports on an otherwise all-turbo-component engine?

I'm doing one. 13B N/A 6 port motor.

Using factory Turbo stuff with the exeption of my downpipe.

Your can view my process here

My webpage starts here... which is a 1990 Suzuki Sidekick powered by Mazda..

Things have been on hold for me as I have been concentrating on my personal life and work... Okay I also didn't have a place to work on my car. I now have a place and should be done shortly.

I plan to replace the front cover with a 13BT cover for the oil return. I've got a 13BT waterpump, Manifold, Intake (modified for the 6 port motor), 550cc injectors and I am running a Haltech. I also picked up a 3 bar MAP sensor. I still need a few items... but by spring I'll get there.

I got a $800 ticket this summer. Ripped down the highway and passed a Cop getting gas. I had just loaded a new map and was testing it. I had no wallet, etc... The Cop said "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT" I told him I was working on it and I shift @ 9,000 so it sounds like a raped ape. He didn't cut me any slack. He did tell me it sounded good but to get it on the track. He also told me to not fight it in court. Which I am... Anyway I got 3 tickets that day and he threatend to take me to jail. My girlfriend showed up with my wallet, but I got tickets for failure to provide proof anyway. The cop was a dick... but aren't they all!
