Alright i got to drive my car to work it got me there fine but the battery took a krap. I stoped at the local autokrapzone they closed at 8:00 so i got a jump and started heading home. I stop at a light clutch is pressed in and the car is in first all of the sudden the car starts stalling out and the shifter pops into neutral so i let the clutch out and push it back in. I try to put it back in gear it wouldn't let me so as im trying to put it in gear i started reving the motor and the car starts moving very slowly i missed on light (people honking). Then the light changes again i keep trying, i get the car up to @ 3 mph it goes completly in 1st i picked up some speed i try to put it in 2nd the same thing i wont go in the rpms drop and it goes into 2nd i start going up a hill and it shifted the rest of the way home fine it is a brand new clutch i did it myself 1st one. Any ideas???? What did i do wrong???



ok now for the boost the car is only runnig @ 3-4 psi of boost acording to the autometer boost gauge i have the meter hooked up inline with the OLD HKS SSQV blow off and the car for exhaust has a stock down pipe hollowed and thats it.

clutch slave cylinder probably is on its way out. It's probably original, replace it. But for future reference the way to get longer life out of your clutch master and slave cylinders is not to sit on the pedal, only push it at the time when youre actually changing gears, if your idling...thats what neutral is for.



Or if you let out any fluid during the clutch change you might just have some air in your lines and need to bleed it out.



s4 or s5? i think s4's only boost like 5.5psi or something. Otherwise i'd check out vacuum lines and everything and try to get the boost gauge on it's own nipple, dont share it if possible.

Thanks ill try the new slave in the morning i have a extra that i know works, and a new vacuum source.
