im just curious as to the possibility (and difficulity) of an atx to mtx swap. i understand that you'd need to install the pedal and cables, but would it be a really tough thing? i'm seeing a few 7's around here for decent prices, but most of the ones with good motors are atx.

search and u will see. it bolts up but u need to make amount or something i dotn remember

yeah im tryin some dif search terms, most terms return engine swaps, etc :/

its all a straight bolt in except the transmission mount on the automatic is 5" further back on the body, so you have to fab something.

We did it to rotorayrocket7's car. After a shop screwed it up, its like doing an engine swap in terms of difficulty. You'll need to weld up a mounting adapter like what J9 said.
