What is the main sign of too much premix? Fouled plugs? At first, I was running an oz. per gallon, then I read that was too much. The car never smokes and hasn't run rough. Yesterday I pulled the intake manifolds off again to take out my 5/6 port sleeves and there was what looked like some premix in the main two ports in the LIM. The car had been sitting without running for about 2 months now. At first I thought it was coolant, then after my heart attack, I smelled it and it was gas and premix. It was pooled right at the end of the runners where it connects to the engine ports. Is this just residual coming back out of the engine? After I reinstalled everything, it fired up and ran fine as usual.

plugs will foul a lot...your mixture will smell "oily"



a lot of guys, and i have found as well, that about 4 oz per fill up for regular driving is a good mixture



race days use a bit more when ur revving high
