a fixer-uper.. I'm not going to be going showroom stock car shows or anything, and that figure includes 2(!) rebuilds in a 7 month period.

Well why did it have to have 2 engines? If the price includes 2 rebuilds + labor because you blew the motor then that price isn't that bad depending on the condition of the car when it went to the mechanic.

first rebuild was from a shop that didnt know its @$$ from a hole in the ground..they dropped a screw into the housing and cranked the engine, destroying it..they blamed it on me (but i cant figure out how to get a screw through an air filter) and so i had to take it to a rotary only guy here in tulsa.
